Financial Aid
Tuck has a need-blind admissions policy, which means we offer admission to the most qualified candidates without regard to their financial circumstances. Tuck's goal is to provide financial assistance to students who lack sufficient personal resources to finance their MBA education.
Career achievement is one of Tuck's great strengths, and our graduates have a high return on investment. The initial investment of pursuing an MBA is significant in time and resources and we ask that students begin their financial planning early. While Tuck is committed to identifying financial resources for admitted students who require assistance to meet the cost of the MBA program, applicants are expected to take responsibility for the financial aspects of earning an MBA. Students should plan to save income from work and reduce consumer debt. To minimize debt levels, students are expected to use savings and assets, gifts and loans from family and friends, and company sponsorship, in addition to applying for financial aid from the school.
Tuck offers an array of scholarships, fellowships, and institutional loans. To be considered for a scholarship/fellowship you must complete the Application for Tuck School of Business Scholarship by the published deadline.
U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply for institutional and federal loans. International students are eligible for institutional loans which do not require a U.S. co-signer and private loans with a creditworthy U.S. co-signer. Once students are admitted and apply for financial aid by the published deadlines, the Financial Aid Office determines their eligibility based on a variety of factors including cost of the program, their ability to contribute, debt levels consistent with successful repayment, and availability of funds. The School does reserve the right to limit or decline institutional loans on the basis of students' overall debt burden, credit history, or other relevant factors.
Scholarship awards are communicated with the admissions decision. Scholarship and financial aid deadlines are strictly adhered to. The availability of institutional funds is limited, so students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Please review the application deadlines.
